1 General

We are Global Furniture Brands Limited (company number 07309663) trading as London Furniture Online.

We understand that for most people providing personal information over the internet can be worrying, especially when the information includes your credit / debit card details. You can be reassured that we at London Furniture Online are fully committed to protecting your privacy and will only use and process the information we collect lawfully and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and European and national laws which relate to the processing of personal data.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from London Furniture Online.

2 What information do we collect from you?

2.1 When you visit, register or order products from London Furniture Online you maybe asked to provide certain information about yourself, this information will allow us to process your order and provide you with the level of service you would expect. 2.4 Where relevant we may carry out a credit check on our customers so that we can make credit decisions about you and to prevent fraud and money laundering. Our search will be recorded on the files of a credit reference agency.

2.5 To maintain our high levels of customer service we may also record and monitor incoming phone calls.

2.6 In order to perform our contract with you, we may also need to share your personal data with third parties such as payment providers and postal service or other delivery organisations to assist in the delivery of goods or services you have ordered.

2.7 When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site.

2.8 We will retain your information for as long as we require this to provide you with the goods or services ordered from us and for a period of 13 years afterwards. For marketing purposes we will keep your personal data for the period of time described in section 6.

3 What happens if you fail to provide personal data?

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you fail to provide the data when requested, we may have to cancel an order you have placed with us, but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

In order to perform our contract with you, we may need to share your personal data with third parties such as payment providers and postal service or other delivery organisations to assist in the delivery of goods or services you have ordered.

6 Can I access, delete or restrict the information you hold about me?

6.1 We are more than happy to provide you with details of the information that we may hold about you in a commonly used format and transfer your information to another entity.

6.2. It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if the personal data we hold about you changes.  We will update or amend personal data if you feel this is inaccurate.

6.3. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances or to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data.

6.4. Furthermore you have the right to ask us to remove your personal data from our database entirely or restrict its use.
